Kimberly Tharpe - Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Relationship Manager

Community West Bank is a full service community bank serving Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties. We are committed to enhancing our shareholders’ value by consistently serving a diverse customer base with extraordinary customer service and competitive banking products throughout the communities we serve. CWB has bank branches in Goleta, Ventura, Santa Maria, Santa Barbara, and Westlake Village as well as a corporate office in Goleta. Our extensive product line includes business banking services, consumer banking services, commercial lending, residential lending (specializing in mobile home lending), SBA lending (statewide), and many other financial products.

The Westlake Village Branch opened its doors in the fall of 2006. We have been involved in our community from the very beginning by participating in many events with the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, local Rotary clubs, and local schools. Our staff consists of dedicated and experienced bankers who know their business as well as the markets they serve.

I have been with the Westlake Village Branch of Community West Banks since it opened in 2006 and therefore have had an opportunity to know each and every one of the customers we work with. I pride myself on providing excellent customer service by going above and beyond the expectations of my clients. I truly enjoy my work and look forward to helping businesses in my community meet their financial goals for years to come.

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

I like to call Thousand Oaks "the biggest little town in the country." Even though its size is well over 100,000 residents, it still has a small town feel. You are liable to see someone you know every time you go out. I also like the fact that it has protected itself from the blight that has ruined so many other communities in Southern California by restricting things such as billboards, building structure and height, paid parking lots, and corner strip malls.
