Testimonials from our group...

What makes Synergy Business Connections a special group?

Synergy Business Connections has been such a great addition to my business. I have met not only prospects but business owners who have become powerful centers of influence for me. Getting to know the members has put me in a position to be a resource to all everyone I meet, whether I can help them or not. What really sets Synergy apart though is the positive energy and friendships I have made. We truly work together to attain our common goal which is success!

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

Our community is a spirited one. We love the Conejo and we love helping local businesses! I enjoy that. I feel a real connection to where I live and the people I do business with here. Making the move north from Los Angeles was such a good life change for me.

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

What makes Synergy Business Connections a special group?

Synergy offers a unique and very lively "open forum" format that invites every member to contribute to the conversation. In addition to our bi-monthly meetings, members are assigned a "Troika" (meet for coffee) with 2-3 other members between meetings. Members report that the Troika allows them to interact within the group and develop meaningful relationships.

What makes the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce a good chamber to be part of?

I’m enjoying all the benefits of my chamber.  The jumpstart breakfasts, mixers and learning opportunities make it a little easier to do business. The chamber has such credibility that being a member makes it a little easier to network.

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

I like to call Thousand Oaks "the biggest little town in the country." Even though its size is well over 100,000 residents, it still has a small town feel. You are liable to see someone you know every time you go out. I also like the fact that it has protected itself from the blight that has ruined so many other communities in Southern California by restricting things such as billboards, building structure and height, paid parking lots, and corner strip malls.

What makes the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce a good chamber to be part of?

It keeps local businesses tied to the community.  It no longer feels like a "me against the world" business model.

What makes the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce a good chamber to be part of?

I am not exaggerating:  My experience in the last two years with our Chamber has been life-changing.  I've never been a "joiner" and never felt comfortable in groups. I met Jill Lederer, other wonderful Chamber staff and members when Abby Franke and I introduced them in 2012 to the beginnings of Abby's Millstone Baking Co. in Agoura Hills.  Since that time the support in the Conejo community for the bakery has been huge and continues growing daily by word of mouth (literally and figuratively).  My enormously positive business and personal experiences with Chamber members through the bakery led me to buy a second membership for my husband's and my construction forensics expert witness business, XL Services. So now I'm a two-time joiner who speaks in public, has friendships with many great business owners in the Conejo Valley and enjoys living in our area more than ever, in deep and lasting quality-of-life ways.

I'm pleased to see that our Chamber continues to grow and grow.  I urge every new and existing business in the Conejo Valley and beyond to join us!
