If you recently have joined the Chamber or would like a refresher on all that your Chamber membership has to offer, please join us for an informative and interactive orientation! Here you will have the opportunity to meet the Chamber staff, fellow Chamber members. Come learn how to tap into the unlimited marketing potential within the Chamber, while connecting with the Conejo Valley Community.

Join GIFT for this Summer Gathering and Mixer!   An opportunity for current GIFT attendees and new attendees to continue to be inspired, gain empowerment and the positive contagious energy that fuels long after the GIFT monthly sessions. This July 23rd GIFT Summer Event & Mixer is free and open to all women and men going through life transitions. Please invite family, friends, colleagues and clients who may need some support on their journey. You're welcome to bring business cards, brochures and special offers you'd like to share with the group.

GIFT (Gaining Insight for Transition) for Women is a group sponsored by the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to create and support a thriving network for women in transitional stages and empower them to connect with their passions, dreams, and skills through access to a guest lecture series, employment, and volunteer opportunities, and monthly meetings that encourage personal and professional growth. GIFT attendees will have an opportunity to mingle and discuss topics such as women contemplating a career change, mothers considering returning to work, and empty-nesters searching for their next step.

GIFT meetings are held at the Chamber facilities from 12:00-1:00 PM on the first Tuesday of each month during the months of May-October. Participants are welcome to bring lunch. GIFT does not meet during the months of June-September and will resume in the month of October.  Meetings are free to attend for Chamber members and non-members.  Read more

  • Meets 1st and 3rd Thursday from 10:00-11:00 A.M.​
  • This group is "Category Exclusive" meaning one member per business category
  • Offers a unique and very lively "open forum" format that invites every member to contribute to the conversation.
  • ​​In addition to bi-monthly meetings, members are assigned a "Troika" (meet for coffee) with 2-3 other members
  • Meeting discussions include: technology, sales, marketing and educational topics of interest to the local business community
  • Alternating meetings include: Synergy member presentations and outside speakers.
First meeting is FREE to attend. *Non-Members are welcome to visit one meeting. Chamber members are allowed to join one networking.

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

I like to call Thousand Oaks "the biggest little town in the country." Even though its size is well over 100,000 residents, it still has a small town feel. You are liable to see someone you know every time you go out. I also like the fact that it has protected itself from the blight that has ruined so many other communities in Southern California by restricting things such as billboards, building structure and height, paid parking lots, and corner strip malls.
