How Will You Respond to COVID-19 as a Small Business?

Jim Nagy with Sprocket Websites Offers a Helping Hand

How Will You Respond to COVID-19 as a Small Business?

You can cut costs, wait for what comes next, layoff your best people and hope to survive. Or, with our help, you can pause, rally, and strategize.

Every business and every industry across the world are feeling the effects of this Covid -19 / Coronavirus pandemic. It is not a time for “business as usual” for anyone. That being said, this is also not a time for businesses to fold. Many small businesses are at a loss for where to turn next. As the news changes, minute to minute at times, people are left scrambling to assemble plan after plan to save their businesses. Now is the time for trusted help. Deciding on an approach to take and developing a message and plan to execute that approach could make or break your business. Especially when time is of the essence. Here is where Sprocket Websites can help.

For nearly 30 years, the Sprocket Websites team has helped small businesses develop effective marketing messages and strategies. We can help you reach your existing as well as potential customers with the right messaging to maintain your business during this pandemic.

Your competition is cutting back, slowing down, and closing their doors for good. Are you thinking long term? People have one option right now for outside stimulation: the internet. You still have an opportunity to save your business either by marketing online or by building relationships with the right online messaging to benefit you tenfold after this is over.

What exactly can we help you with?

We’re here to help businesses bridge the gap and stay afloat during this time. We don’t want your doors to be closed for good. We can offer help with crafting the ideal messaging to your customers, sending out mass emails and updates to your existing clients, crafting the right social media messaging and marketing approach for the current circumstances, Facebook advertising, online marketing, website updates, addition of COVID-19 web pages and messaging to your website, and much more. We have a few simple options bundled for your convenience, but we have the ability to do much more. Please contact us for a tailor made approach.

Here is how we’ve worked closely to help just a few of our existing clients in the last two weeks:

Business Consultants: We have a client who is a local business consultant. We have shifted her marketing messaging and focus to highlight her ability to help struggling businesses. We’ve highlighted her ability to work with businesses of all sizes to make sure they continue to grow and flourish. We’ve reached her existing customers and reached a whole new audience base to promote her consulting, training, speaking, ongoing development and strategic programs ,and problem solving.

Lawyers: One of our clients is a family law attorney whose focus we have shifted to online divorce services and online mediation as the courts are closed right now and for the foreseeable future. We’ve helped her develop videos to inform and reassure clients as well as advertising to promote her online services. There are many ways that businesses can innovate. We’re available to find the ways that will work best for your business.

Home Care Services: As an essential business, our Home Care clients needed to get messaging out reassuring clients that they are still open for business. We did this for them in addition to informing potential customers of the essential services they are able to provide to seniors, who are the most at risk group, during this time.

Pool Building and Maintenance:  We have a client who is a local pool contractor. We crafted a message for his customers to let them know that he was still open for business as an essential service. We explained to customers the safety measures his business was taking as well as what they could expect in the coming months. We streamlined this messaging across his website, email marketing, social media channels and more.

Construction and Construction Suppliers: One of our clients is a concrete supplier who does a large number of commercial and residential projects in their local community. We were able to craft messaging for them to explain to their customers that their jobs were moving forward as planned and to identify the safety measures they were taking on behalf of their employees. We streamlined this messaging across their website, email marketing, social media channels and more.

Real Estate: We have a Senior Real Estate Associate who needed to completely flip her marketing strategy. We were able to shift the focus of her marketing to illustrate her ability to sell homes virtually through virtual showings, videos, and other means. We crafted new messaging for her to reach clients, potential clients and colleagues with information to help ease the panic of buyers and sellers while distributing housing information to avoid a crash.

Final Thought: Right now, there are going to be a lot of people out of work who can promise to help you, your business, your marketing, and your website as a “side gig”. We’ve been crafting quality marketing messages and helping businesses thrive for over 30 years. This isn’t a time for amateur help. Contact us to get started on saving your business by calling 805.372.1580 or email Jim@SprocketWebsites.com

Some messages from our group...

What makes the Conejo Valley special, unique or interesting?

I like to call Thousand Oaks "the biggest little town in the country." Even though its size is well over 100,000 residents, it still has a small town feel. You are liable to see someone you know every time you go out. I also like the fact that it has protected itself from the blight that has ruined so many other communities in Southern California by restricting things such as billboards, building structure and height, paid parking lots, and corner strip malls.
